There are like a thousand pubs in Sweden called The Bishop's Arms, but this one is actually great. It's located in an area that I think is referred to as Söders Höjder. The bar has a great beer and bourbon selection, and is warm, woody and filled with a good mix of folk. Plus, you have to walk around the area, which is architecturally more interesting than Gamla Stan, if you ask me, but then again, who is.

Episode 28: Vurma
Vurma is something of a hipster cafe empire. They have at least three cafes in different parts of the city, and all of them are pretty good for coffee and a sandwich. They recently opened one on Birger Jarlsgartan around the corner from us. It seems they bought out an old, classic Swedish restaurant, and kept some of the food. Serious traditional Swedish fare for lunch at a good price.
