Episode 33: Pelikan

My fave old school beer hall, with obligatory monkey roof mural, Pelikan also serves up some mean Swedish traditional food at reasonable prices. I love wood, monkeys and gubbröra, so I could basically live and die here.

Episode 32: Ersta Terass

I think Ersta Terass might have an even better view than Herman's, but you have to be willing to trade hippy buddhist vibe for Christian hospital vibe. I find the latter suits me better anyway. They also have a bakery for those little Christ consecrated crackers, if you're still hungry after lunch. They have beer, but are only open to 4 pm.

Episode 31: Boule hallen

Boule hallen on Närkesgatan is like a hipster Hitler bunker, but instead of planning the defense of Berlin, you can drink beer and play fusball, or throw heavy metal balls at drunk people when they wander across your boule court.

Episode 30: Morfar Ginko

Morfar Ginko is located on a cozy little street Swedenborsgatan, just down from Mariatorget, which has probably the best Thor statue in a town with many Thor-related things. I like Morfar because it is, to use a tired architecture magazine term "distressed." It's not as distressed as I would like it, but it does have a cavernous abattoir like feeling, and an attached Cava bar.
